Upon contact and agreement with the self-managed social kitchen "The other man", our association contributes to the effort of collecting food and clothing for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. Collection of goods Saturday and Sunday (11-12/2) the hours 11.00-13.00 at former kindergarten of Poulithron. We mainly need warm clothes, jackets, blankets, hats, scarves, gloves, legumes, pasta, canned food, oil, biscuits, baby food and milk, personal hygiene items (sanitary napkins, toilet paper, etc.), pacifiers, diapers, baby wipes, etc.
Please make sure that the clothing you bring is winter clothing, in good condition and washed and ready to use because as you understand there is no luxury to be washed and ironed there. The same applies to linen, blankets, towels, etc.
If someone wants to help and is in Athens/Piraeus, he/she can bring the above to the warehouse of the social kitchen "The other man" (109 M. Alexandrou Street, Kerameikos, Athens)
